Here's a fun fact about Nate, his jersey number is my date of birth. Almost every jersey number in this novel pertains to a certain person. I had trouble picking numbers and found myself wanting to repeat numbers and it hit me. It's a sneaky little tribute to people I know.

Nate is a character that I can completely relate to. The way he sees people, the way he loves and how he takes care of everyone in his life. He just wants those around him to be happy and healthy. That's exactly how I am as well. Then he has his insecurities and anxiety were difficult to write at times. 

Picking the Corners was interesting to write. I originally started out working on Remi Blanchard's story and then ten thousand words in, I got stuck. These two guys were begging to be written so I switched gears. They opened the door to book three (Bishop and Barrett) and ideas for what's to come with Sluts. Then Baggy came along - I haven't even started book four but I know that one is going to be one hell of a ride.
